Our story begins with a legacy. Founded in 1971 by Richard Campbell, his company Cardinal Distributors operated in Alexandria, Virginia before relocating to Forestville, Maryland 16 years later. For over 50 years, Cardinal was a trusted name in the flooring industry throughout the DMV area and the Mid-Atlantic region.
Chris Blackwell joined the company in 2000 and worked his way up from warehouse associate to Vice President, gaining valuable experience in every facet of the business. In May 2025, Chris launched DMV Floor Pros, bringing decades of industry knowledge and a renewed vision.
