FAQ

1. Do you offer a military or first responder discount ?

YES! We love our military, police and first responder customers! We take 10% off of already low wholesale pricing. Valid ID may be required.

2. Do you sell to the public or just contractors?

We absolutely sell to the public, as well as contractors, other carpet stores, carpet salespeople, and builders.

3. Do you offer free estimates?

Yes, as long as it’s more than one room. We have someone dedicated to do site visits and measurements most Wednesdays and Fridays. Measurements are typically done between the hours of 10AM and 2PM. A closer arrival time will be given to you once we set our route the previous day. We also can have our installers come by and take measurements on other days if they’re in your area. Call today to inquire.

4. What is the turn around time to get carpet installed?

Typical turn around for installation is 3 to 5 days, but in a pinch, we will do our best to get it in sooner if needed. We have even done some jobs the same or next day.

5. How long do special order items take?

Assuming that the product is not back ordered, standard order time is 5 to 7 business days.

6. Can I just purchase the carpet and padding from you and install it myself or use my own installer?

Absolutely!

7. Do I really need to replace my padding or use padding under my carpet?

YES! Padding is the backbone of carpet, and without it your carpet will not last, nor give you that comfortable feeling under your feet. Carpet padding also serves as an insulator, and can help reduce your heating and air conditioning costs. Also without new padding under your carpet, your manufacturers warranty is immediately void.

8. Why is your carpet sold by the square yard and not by the square foot?

The answer to that is very simple. Carpet is not sold in 1′ by 1′ square pieces. It is sold in 12 or in some cases 15 foot widths. So imagine you have a 10×10 square room. That is 100 square feet. However, in order to carpet that room, you would have to purchase a 12×10 piece of carpet. That equals 120 square feet; see where I’m going with this? Any store that quotes you square foot prices on carpet is simply trying to make the price sound cheaper. To convert a square footage price to a square yardage price, simply multiply it by nine. For example, a $0.99 per square foot price would be $8.91 square yardage price.
